This post is going to be a brief overview of the game's status and I am also going to touch on what is and is not acceptable posting/commenting content.
Firstly, the game as it stands today is in pretty bad shape unfortunately. On PC there are hackers and DDosers everywhere, I encourage extreme caution playing PC. On 360 and PS3 the situation is bad, though not as problematic as PC. On console you will likely run into people deranking and god-moding frequently. There are still DDosers on console as well though few and far between. My general rule is that if anything seems sketchy at all just leave the match and find a new one.
Now for what /r/MW3 wants post wise. Myself and the other mods have been relativity lax when it comes to post moderation. With backwards compatibility around the corner (hopefully) we want to go ahead now and set expectations. We are looking for quality content and not low-effort posting. Examples of low-effort posts are posts such as:
'how many players still on 360?'
'Do people still play this game'
'Where did my rank go?'
Any post asking for hacks.
These posts have flown in the past simply because of the inactivity of the sub in general as this game has aged. I am personally hoping for a resurgence so hopefully we can get it on track with some quality content on this subreddit.
